Life after death

Note: This post contained information about ghosts and spirits. If you are super sensitive, in other words, scare, then please don't read on.

Hi Guys,

So what is life after death? Are we gonna be vanished forever? Or are we going to have a life after we die? I often believe the latter is closest to the truth. After all, I've seen ghosts and spirits. So it makes me more determine to analyse this further.

Where do they come from? Why are they here? Why the hell I can see them? Are they scary? Hell, of course. Things that are unexpected are often scary. For example, you dont expect a guest in your house unless you know about it.

If there is a life after death, our knowledge, our experience and our memory, we can bring it all with us. Can we? Perhaps.

As a kid, I have witnessed a person being possessed by a spirit. The spirit was the mother. She died with unfinished business hence possessing the body of her daughter to complete her task. She had wanted to fulfil her duty to God.

Mrs Wong (a friend of my mum) in a conversation with the spirit in front of nearly 30 people including me.

Mrs. Wong: Why are you here, Aunty?
The Spirit: I have unfinished business here.
Mrs. Wong: Of what sort do you speak of?
The Spirit: Of my duty to God. I have not been a filial believer. I want to fulfil my duty now by praying here tonight.
Mrs. Wong: Ok but how long do you plan to possess your daughter's body?
The Spirit (annoyed): For as long as I am doing my duty.
Mrs. Wong: Your daughter loves you. Don't you think it's not good for you to do this to her? You're making her suffer. Do you know that?

The Spirit: It is nothing. I am just using her body for a while. Absolutely nothing to fuss about.

The spirit then kneel down and pray. During that process, she keep kicking her slippers away. I wonder why. Probably she was uncomfortable. After a short while, something strange happened.

The Spirit: Stop cursing me, whoever you are. I mean no harm to my daughter, ok?
Mrs. Wong: To whom you are referring to?
The Spirit: To your son. In his prayer, he was cursing me.
Mrs. Wong: How do you know?
The Spirit: Well, I know. So tell him to stop.

The 13 or 14 years old boy was obviously shocked! But from his expression, you can see the truth. He was really cursing the spirit in his prayer. On the other hand, the spirit continues to pray quietly. There was dead silence within the crowd. Obviously shocked at the turn of events. It took about 20 minutes or so for the spirit to complete her prayer. Then she suddenly rise up.

The Spirit: I can see the Goddess Kuan Yin! I can see God. They are everywhere! They are all here. They are all here!

Mrs. Wong: They are here? Where?
The Spirit: Everywhere. I think I have to go already. Tell my family, I love them.

Within a minute, the spirit was gone. Her daughter fainted on the floor and woke up after 2 or 3 minutes. It was that dramatic and it's an event I will not forget for the rest of my life. This is no bollywood tamil movie act. It's real and it's right in front of my naked eyes!

I was just a kid and without question, I was terrified to the max.

The wife that came back after dying for 15 minutes
A Chinese daily had once published a story about a wife who died either in an accident or something along that line. Her hubby hugged the lifeless body of his wife and begged for her to come back never knowing his melancholic act will yield a miracle. He was hopeful. After 15 minutes, the wife opened her eyes. She looked lost but she was completely alright. She confessed to her husband that she is not the wife. She is another spirit that has entered the body. Her hubby doesn't care. He still accepts her. How weird is that?

Together, they did an interview with a reporter from the Chinese daily.

Reporter: So you claim that you are a spirit that has entered the body of this lady?
Wife: Yes. I can tell you that I have gotten permission to do so. I am granted to use her body to live as a human for 2 years. Thanks to the begging of the lady's husband, who is currently my husband. I am to take care of him until he can face the lost of his wife.
Reporter: You were granted to use the body for 2 years by whom?
Wife: By the highest authority in hell.
Reporter: They gave you the right to do so?
Wife: Yes.
Reporter: So you are telling me that you came from hell?
Wife: Yes, absolutely. Do not be alarmed. I find that, you people has the wrong perception of hell. Hell is not as bad as you think it is.
Reporter: Can you elaborate further on that?
Wife: Ok. For a start, hell is almost similar to life on earth. We have our studies and we have our work. I am currently in my 2nd year of higher education learning. We have the rich and the poor as well. The big difference between here and hell is the fact that, the poor do not suck up to the rich. It is not like life on earth whereby the poor are often slaves to the rich people. There is no such thing there. You practically live your own life happily. We have offenders as well, hence there is law and protection. Offenders will be dealt with punishment, just like here.
Reporter: Are there any truth about the 7th month of the Chinese calender, whereby it is known as the Ghost Month?
Wife: Absolutely true. The hell's gate will be opened and spirits who are granted the rights can come and visit their loved ones for a short period. Do not be alarmed. These are non-harmful spirits. Humans can never see them anyway.
Reporter: So you will be here for 2 years and then what will happen to you?
Wife: I will die. I will have to go back to where I came from. That was what agreed between me and the higher authority of hell.
Reporter: And your husband? Does he knows about this?
Wife: To him is more like "As long as I can have you for 2 more years". I am going to get him to start getting used to it.
Reporter: So when we die, we will be having a life there?
Wife: Yes. If you are not serving your duty in hell, you will be serving your duty in heaven.
Reporter: So it is not done for us when this life is over?
Wife: This life is supposed to be temporary. The after life is the permanent one.
Reporter: So I will still need to work?
Wife (laughs): Yes, if you want to survive, you obviously need to work.

Exactly after 2 years, she passed away. How weird is that? Coincidence? Did it on purpose just to put up a show? I doubt it! It's not like she's going to get an Oscar or something.

One day before my Grandpapa passed away

I missed my Grandpapa. I remember when he was still around, we would cheer for Liverpool FC together with my dad like mad.

Mum: Grandpapa said that he saw his mother, father and aunty. He told Grandma. He said the aunty was very quiet and keep observing him only.
Me: Serious? So it's true. Moments before we die, our loved ones who have passed away will come and visit us.
Mum: Yes. I think so. He knows when he will be going away.
Me: So is Grandpapa gonna die?
Mum: Yes. He has suffered. It's best for him to go rather than struggling on. Plus, when these things come and visit, you will know that time is up.
Me: Oh my God. So if I am about to die of old age one day, you and papa will come and visit me?
Mum: Sheesh.. don't talk nonsense.
Me: No. I am serious.
Mum: Yes. I think that's the way it works.

A few years later, I read the book "Five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom. The author said the same about this experience. He stated that moments before his uncle passed away, he saw his relatives coming by and visit him.

After life
So is there a life after we die? Yes! Can we blog in the after life? Well, how in the hell would I know? I dont even know whether there is internet. Perhaps they are using a different technology altogether. Something that's far more advanced. Haha.

And the bonus we get after dying? Well, you get to start your life all over again! Work and study ---- ewww.... I know, I know! How about networking, socialising and clubbing? --- Freaking cool, isnt it? Dating as well, perhaps? I don't know. After I die, I will know.

So it's goodbye for now!

How to commit suicide - A disturbing trend in Google Search

* Back after a short hiatus. Just started my new job in Singapore.

Hey Guys,

This is the second installment of my analysis into suicide cases after my previous post on famous korean female celebrities suicide. I'm gonna share something that is going to be really disturbing with everyone. So if you are depressed or weak, it's best not to read.

368,000. Yes, that's the big number in 2012. No, that's not the number of suicide cases in the world. It's the number of searches per month, to look for the solution to commit suicide. It's an alarming rate! Do a simple maths calculation and that is 4.4 million searches a year! It makes you wonder why. Is the world getting more and more depressed?

How to commit suicide - 368,000 searches globally per month

You may think that I am being paranoid and that this figure reflects nothing but simply the work of stupid but curious people surfing the net and they don't really mean to take any action on it. HELL NO! In 2011, the suicide rates have increased 7 times more than 2010. (source: 1011now).

Ok. So what's the number 1 "Killing yourself" reason? It's a no brainer. It's depression! You have seen it. You have heard about it. You read about it somewhere. You thought that it wouldn't happen to Tom, Dick, Joe and Mary. But hell, when they are gone, you start to reflect. What causes depression?

Off my mind, I can instantly think of the top 3 reasons:

1) Relationship trouble
Famous among teenagers or youngsters. It almost seems like when a relationship ended, it is the end of the world. The world seems smaller and more meaningless. The dark cloud covers the daily life and going on seems to be a pain. One of the most famous suicide cases was a Malaysian young chap, the 22 year-old Alviss Kong.

Alviss Kong and his ex girlfriend

Alviss made a shocking announcement to the world on facebook prior to taking his life and his friends thought that he was pulling a prank for some sicko attention seeking reasons. Well, he garnered over hundreds of comments and guess what..... 204 likes! What kind of person will do that? SOMEONE is counting down to his death and you click "like"? Bleeding Christ.
Alviss was a good looking and healthy chap but the sign of endangering himself is clear. It was there. But nobody took it seriously. 45 minutes is a long time. Long enough to reach out and save someone's life. But no. No one took any action and a life ended just like that.

2) Pressure of chasing success

IS PROSPERITY a killer? Yes, it could be. In a developed nation like Singapore, kids are having early childhood education pressure. These days, most children spent their time attending tuition classes right after school. Swimming, tennis, music and ballet lessons happen during the weekends. Home work and additional reading is a daily routine. Such was the hectic life of a children in a developed nation. Competition is tight. You are either one of the bests or you will suffer like the rest. Parents forcing and threatening children to study hard are a norm. In June 2011, Krystal Aki Mizoguchi, an 18-year-old girl fell to her death in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore.

 Krystal Aki Mizoguchi

In her last blog post "Crash and Burn", she spoke of her broken dreams after poor A-Level exam results. Rumor has it that, relationship trouble was also a cause to her demise. Let's face it. There are billions of people living in this world but there are hardly enough jobs for everyone. Hell, there are hardly enough food for some people living in poor countries. In a dog-eat-dog world, only the fittest survive. In short, my friend, we are no different from baby crocodiles.

Over in South Korea, an 18 year old boy has committed suicide in the city of Daejeon - just hours before he was due to take a university entrance exam.

Suicide before exam

3) Financial difficulty
It is no surprise that the fall of the economy always causes suicide cases to rise. It's a case of "you can no longer afford to live". Bills are coming, debts are mounting and the endless desire that needs fulfilling. Often is the case that being poor is a major embarrassment to many people in this world.

An out-of-work money manager in California loses a fortune and wipes out his family in a murder-suicide. A 90-year-old Ohio widow shoots herself in the chest as authorities arrive to evict her from the modest house she called home for 38 years. In Massachusetts, a housewife who had hidden her family's mounting financial crisis from her husband sends a note to the mortgage company warning: "By the time you foreclose on my house, I'll be dead." (source: Huffingtonpost)

Texas Mayor, Jayne Peters also found herself in such desperate situation that she decided to take her daughter's and her own life with gunshots.

Jayne and Corrine Peters

Some famous suicides

1) Leslie Cheung

He is arguably one of the most famous celebs of Asia. I was a fan of Leslie. His movies like "A Chinese Ghost Story", "Once a thief" and "He's a woman, She's a man" are unforgettable. A man with such an illustrious career suddenly found himself at the end of the road when he leap from the 24th floor of Mandarin Oriental on 1 April 2003. He was 46. Depression has been cited as the main reason for his suicide that shock the world.

 Leslie Cheung

2) Roh Moo-Hyun, ex-President of South Korea

As the President of South Korea, Mr. Roh was seen as the person who will root out corruption, by his ardent supporters. Ironically, it was corruption cases against him that brought him to his end. Roh and his family has been accused of using borrowed funds for personal use. Overwhelmed by shame and the pressure of corruption scandal surrounding his family, Roh took his life on 23 May 2009 by jumping from a 45-meter cliff. He left his final words before departing. Personally, I really feel sorry for the ex-President. His last words were:

"I am in debt to so many people. I have caused too great a burden to be placed upon them. I can't begin to fathom the countless agonies down the road. The rest of my life would only be a burden for others. I am unable to do anything because of poor health. Do not be too sad. Isn't life and death all a part of nature? Do not be sorry. Do not feel resentment toward anyone. It is fate. Cremate me. And leave only a small tombstone near home. I've thought on this for a long time."

Mr Roh's Funeral

3) Lee Yoon-Hyung, daughter of former Samsung chairman

A classic story of "Poor little rich girl". Young, beautiful, clever and bless with fortune of billions, Lee subsequently hanged herself in her Manhattan home. Her death has been a mystery and there were only mild rumors of her failed relationship with a Korean boyfriend due to the pressure from the family because of the guy's lowly status, has been circulating around. I really don't comprehend rich people. What is more important than the happiness and health of your children?

Lee Yoon-Hyung

My view on life and suicide

I figured that, life has too much of a value. Perhaps to some people, it has over-exaggerated its value to the extent that they believe the after-life is a better place. Nevertheless, my view is that, God sent us here for a reason. Perhaps to learn. Hence, it will be disappointing to book an early ticket home.

So what is life after suicide? It's a scary journey. Very scary. My assumption is that, people who are not supposed to die will never get to leave this world until the time is up. They will wander as a lost soul. Living in a world that they cannot touch or feel. Ever heard of people seeing ghost? How do you explain that? If you read my 2nd blog posts (which was many years ago), you would know that I had experienced of seeing them and it's no bullshit.

So the conclusion is, Alviss, Krystal Aki, Leslie Cheung, Mr. Roh, Corinne Peters, Lee Yoon-Hyung and many others may still be around in this world (unless their time is up). And they are now wandering as lost souls, waiting for their time to go. I don't know about you. I think that kind of life is even more depressing!

May those who has left us, rest in peace.

XOXO,
Dillon

SEO results - Page Number 1 in Google Search

Hi Guys,

Positive news to share!

As promised in my previous post Keyword Competition Analysis, I will share with you the proper strategy of backlinking to be in the first page of Google Search. After waiting for a few weeks to observe the strategy, here are the result.

Key in "Keyword Competition Analysis" in Google search and you will find Dillonyong.com in spot number 13 (take note that the positioning may change from time to time, but all you really need is to build a small number of useful backlinks to it and you will be back to top spot)

Ok, as you can see from the chart above, the post is on number 13 which means page 2. Not quite page 1 yet but it will be if I continue building some backlinks to it and wait. Here's what happened during the last 3 weeks:

1) Week 1 - the post was on number 72 (page 8)
2) Week 2 - the post was on number 30 (page 4)
3) Week 3 - the post is now on number 13 (page 2)

From this chart above, you can see the dramatic rise in organic traffic which means that most visits come from Google search itself. This is no joke. Before this, I have like hardly 8% traffic that comes from Google but now it is almost 80% of the traffic comes from Google.

Now if I keep doing proper research of keywords before naming the title of my blogpost, I will ensure that this blog will continue to gain more organic traffic. Will the blog be popular in time to come? Well, of course. At least I hope so :P.

Ok. Enough of BS! Let's go straight to the point of what I did.

1) Research (refer to my previous post on keyword competition analysis)

2) Register a free SocialMonkee account and build backlinks to your post. It's free. You will get a standard 25 social bookmarking backlinks per day which is perfectly alright (dont worry about the blackhat BS which people keep telling you. Bookmarking is fine.)

3) Use Bulkping, com to submit your URL (the url of the post) and also submit RSS feed of your page to their RSS directories (Not only Bulkping provides fast indexing/pinging service, they also provide some free backlinks to you. Pinging is a way to tell Google to visit your page as there have been an update while Indexing is a way to tell you that Google recognised your page has a recent update and published it in search result. I hope my explanation suffice. LOL)

4) More free backlinks from 247backlinks that you can use. Frankly, I like this service. It's easy and fast and definitely play an important part in improving your search ranking.

5) Key in "Angela Backlinks" in Google Search and follow what Angela tells you to do. This method require abit of work but it's really worthwhile. I must confess that I was quite lazy for I had only build 6 backlinks from Angela's strategy. LOL. (But her method is the one that accelerate your page in Google Search, so it is important to follow what Angela says)

6) Use Growsocials.com and Traffup.net to get some Google Plus One and Retweets to your page. I do not know how important is this but then some experts as I observed in their blogs said that Google is now paying important attention to social media ratings. In short, if you have more people voting for your page with Google Plus One, you will rank better. As for retweets, you can use Traffup which is brilliant in bringing in traffic from twitter.

Alright people. That's about it. All the above can be done within a day. And then, all you really need to do is to wait and check your result via Mike's Marketing Site.

Now if you like this post, remember to do me a favor. Press +1 on your left. That's all for now.

Dillon

Keyword competition analysis

Hey Guys,

I got something new for you. This is something that I just learned and would like to share with you. It's very useful. It will make sure you get organic traffic to your blog by doing a clever and simple research before posting your article.

How do I rank well in Search Engine with my blog post?
So you have a brilliant piece of article that you want to post in your blog. You were wondering:

1) Will people read my post?
2) Hell, where can they even find my post or my blog?
3) What kind of words they will key in Google to find out about information related to the article that I've just written?

The solution is simple. Use GOOGLE KEYWORD TOOL and do keyword competition analysis.

This is the step by step guide of what you should do

Let's just you are writing about "How to cure dandruff"

1) Download SEOQuake and Mozilla Firefox. It is a must so that you can check which website is in the first page with the keyword "how to cure dandruff" and how do they rank

Notice that the page show you more info? You can see the "PR Rank" and "Google Index". In the picture above we can see that www.ridiculouslyextraordinary.com has PR 2 and Google Indexes of 303

2) Login to GOOGLE KEYWORD TOOL.

3) Key in "How to cure dandruff". Then select "Only show ideas closely related" and also select "Exact" Phrase Match

4) You will see the result showing "1300" in global monthly search and the competition is low which is very good. If your keyword global monthly search is below 500, well it's best to search for alternative words to your topic. Use the words that has over 500 searches at least. Click on the keyword to see the results in Firefox.

5) You will see that most are PR2 and above and they have massive number of Google Indexes. That means to kick them off their top spots may take a long time.

6) Then as you scroll down further, you may notice that there are 2 websites ranking only PR0 (treatdandruff.net) to PR1 (cure-for.info/dandruff). What's more the google indexes is not much. Only 227!

7) So you have a higher chances of knocking those 2 fellas off their perch. What to do next? Select this as your topic. Your title and keyword and labels ---> "How to cure dandruff". Your picture name ----> howtocuredandruff.jpg / howtocuredandruff2.jpg

8) Post your blog post and then build backlinks to it. (In case if you do not know what is backlink, this is the explanation. Backlink is your url link posted in other people's website)

So how to build backlinks automatically or manually? I shall share this in my next post. Come back for more tips. :)

XOXO,
Dillon
